  3. Greig…good messages in a nice tight comms – I especially like the UVP twist… Hitting the question ” what do you bring” that’s just slightly or dramatically different than the “rest” of the hurd.

    Branding is a hot internal leadership development process, usually led by HR types like me, most leaders don’t know what people see them as… But believe me, its like a neon sign in most cases. Big Opportunity to help.

  4. Other than a couple of glitches in the video, which seems to be appropriate considering the challenges of today’s job market, Greig Wells’ video is quickly informative. Good insight information for branding and effective networking, Greig’s videos, webinars, and blog’s are always very helpful.

  5. Informative video with some great ideas, especially branding. Networking will require a personal elevator pitch and branding, just like a company. Everyone is a salesman, whether they want to think in those terms or not.

What I strongly believe after viewing Greig´s video is that his concepts are very solid and applicable for latin american markets as well.   7. Since I have found Greig and tried his suggestions I can be found on Google close to 1st position and am in first position on LinkedIn as of today.

    Greig is a professional recruiter that wants to help and I have seen that so far. Branding is good, people identify with them so create your brand and see what happens.

  11. Audio also dropped out for me from 2:30 to 2:47. Made things a bit hard to follow… I like the focus on networking, a necessary action I think a lot of people forget; through internet sites like Linked In, or through old fashioned face-to-face talking… I agree that the over-saturation of very qualified, experienced candidates makes it harder for younger people to break into more competitive agencies.

  13. i appreaciate the honesty. the tips were great. after you mention bonus you pause for about a minute or two. i will create a brand in a new town an ready to sell my self. not physically you know what i mean .

  14. The audio went out on me from about 2:30 to 2:52. What is it that the guy is saying beyond what is on the screen. This really throws off the rest of the hidden job market section. Can you let me know more about this part.

  15. this video is surprisingly useful and immediately practical for me — I especially like the UPV vs. UVP, that makes perfect sense. The slide at 5:00 hits home especially. The entire presentation is well organized and I’m going to take some of this advice.
    (btw… is it just me, or does the audio drop out from 2:27 through 2:48?)

    I think that you emphasized the most important tips that can help a job seeker.
    The best part/advice of the video is that a job seeker should not rely only on the resume because it is a big mistake!!!
    a career brand is a wonderful and powerfull addition because it is your extra contribution for the company.

  17. It is very a very good video about the guidlines for job seekers. It is importtant to note that all the details provided in the video are based on survey. If everybody follws, I am ceratain that they will get a job instant. Well work done Mr.Wells. Keep it up.

  18. I found the advice easy to follow and have a feeling that following them would certainly put me in advantage as a job seeker. But I could not understand how I could build insider advocate for myself?
