Unbelievable drumming ! Only a handful of drummers on the planet could pull something like this off with this much balance of subtlety & fire. Steve needs to record with this very group because he’s a perfect fit in it. This is on a par with McLaughlin’s Remember Shakti albums. Something so peaceful about Hellborg’s bass tone, that meditative feel combined with Steve’s style & then Shrinivas & Selvaganesh synergizes things to another plateau.
Hellborg -master in Bass guitar , Steve – more than a master in drums, selvaganesh – massive percussionist with small instrument and wide range of sounds and ofcourse one and only Mandolin U Srinivas.. When it comes to speed and accuracy there are only two things in this world.. man made Super Computer and God made U Srinivas.
