How To Make Money With Social Network Marketing

Is it possible to build your network business through Social Network Marketing? Well yes it is, if your willing to work at it over a period of time, This form of promotion can be extremely lucrative.

There are a number of places where you can implement social network Marketing, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn are three of the best services out there but there are hundreds available. Before you start promoting your business on a social network though you need a plan of action, some friends or fans and a general understanding of how these websites work.

The first thing you need to do is sign up with each of the social media sites out there and put up a good profile. Just a name with no info about you and no pictures just doesn’t cut it! A good profile includes a good quality photo of yourself, smiling please, I like to see happy cheerful people. In the about me sections include information about yourself, your hobbies, places you’ve visited, favourite music, films etc. It is possible to add video’s too, this helps a lot. Remember you want to connect with your prospects on a personal level, be friendly and approachable. Don’t forget to add a link to your blog too.

Now you need friends, without people looking at your page your marketing is going to be pointless. There are a variety of tools out there where you can gain friends automatically on autopilot but to be honest with you, I prefer to spend the extra time it takes to locate potential prospects and send them a personal message. I look at their profile and see if we have anything in common and use that to introduce myself and make a connection. This is very important in Social Network Marketing, note Social!

In Facebook for example you could search out groups where network marketers hang out, one example would be Dani Johnson’s group, you then scroll through the wall and find friendly, sounding people, take a look at their profile to find that connection and send them a personal message.

One thing to note though NEVER send them a link in your messages, this tends to put people off, instead ask them questions about what they do, how long etc and build up a rapport. Once you have a rapport with them you can offer to show them your business or solution to their marketing problem.

Once you have your audience you should be providing them with regular quality content every day, this could be articles written yourself or articles, video’s that you have found on the internet that you feel is good enough quality to share.

Social Network marketing is made easier with the use of a variety of tools you can use to submit quality content to your Social media networks. For your own content I would highly recommend Ping.fm and Livewire. Both these services enable you to submit content once and it gets blasted to all your social networking accounts.
